📄 PRODUCT OVERVIEW

A complete Remote Terminal Unit system for NNA System Solution's STRIX station management platform, deployed across remote aviation sites in Malaysia. Each RTU monitors and reports real-time status of critical equipment, room temperature, and power conditions at unmanned remote stations, communicating back to a central server exclusively over 4G wireless — requiring no on-premise wired network infrastructure. The system was deployed across 140 sites in 2022 and has been running without major breakdown to date.

🔧 DESIGN BACKGROUND

NNA System Solution had built their STRIX platform using a PLC, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, a 4G router, and backend software. They approached Jaavin to design and build two custom PCBs, a metal enclosure in two variants, and handle full box assembly with wire harness fabrication. Jaavin delivered the complete system from concept to production in six months — covering schematic design, PCB layout, prototype build, mechanical design, metal fabrication, and 140-unit production.

Variant A - 2U Rack

Rack-mount enclosure for server room or equipment rack installation. Houses Interface PCB, Power PCB, PLC, Raspberry Pi, 4G router, SMPS and batteries in a compact 2U form factor with front-panel terminal blocks for field wiring.

Variant B - Cabinet

Lockable wall/pole-mount cabinet for outdoor or remote site deployment. Same electronics as Variant A with external antenna ports for 4G connectivity and internal panel terminal access.
